What You Bring
The position is located in San Antonio, TX 78232, full‑time day shift. Candidates must be willing to travel to Florida for work and maintain a clean background. Candidates must pass a drug screen, background check, and physical, and have hands‑on experience with sheet‑metal work on large commercial projects. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, lay out hangers using dimensions or a Trimble unit, and possess full knowledge of ductwork systems, water gauges, and various materials. The job requires adhering to construction safety protocols, possessing all necessary hand tools, and collaborating respectfully with coworkers. Employees must meet mandatory deadlines, communicate daily with foremen, attend onsite safety meetings, and install high‑quality products while representing McCorvey professionally. Tools commonly used include sheet‑metal hammers, snips, cheaters, hand tongs, tape measures, basic hand tools, and a tool pouch. • Available for travel to Florida and maintain a clean background record. • Successfully complete drug screening, background verification, and physical fitness test. • Apply knowledge of duct systems, water gauges, and material types.
