About the Role
The Assistant Facilities Manager will support five facilities in Virginia and Maryland, based at a large campus in McLean, VA, with monthly travel to other sites using a reimbursed personal vehicle. This role assists in delivering property operations, including client services, financial management, maintenance, and procurement, while collaborating with third‑party service providers. • Oversee maintenance and repair services with the Facility Management Team. • Ensure client satisfaction and proactively improve service delivery. • Assist in budgeting and prepare monthly/quarterly variance reports for each property. • Support short‑ and long‑term projects and execute the annual management plan. • Manage reporting and aid planning and execution of capital projects. • Optimize use of suppliers, preferred vendors, and control spending. • Coordinate vendor discussions on goals, performance criteria, and reviews. • Maintain existing contracts and monitor service level agreements. • Meet or exceed site KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions. • Enforce company safety policies and required training. • Collaborate across the account team to develop and apply IFM best practices. • Manage work orders for in‑house staff and vendors, and support soft services such as meeting preparation, conference‑room scheduling, food services, parking, vending, and badge issuance. • Provide a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.

What You Bring
• Require 3+ years facilities management experience in a corporate setting. • Possess knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, accounting, building systems, and vendor management. • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CMMS platforms. • Preferred: bachelor's degree in Facility or Property Management and Corrigo experience.

Compensation ranges from $31.25 to $36.06 hourly, with a Monday‑Friday day shift and required 24/7 on‑call availability for emergencies, including after‑hours and weekend work. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, as the position does not provide visa sponsorship.
