About the Role

The Assistant General Manager serves as the liaison among the General Manager, homeowners, the Board of Directors, committee members, and association staff. This onsite role supports office, administrative, and clerical functions, while coordinating scheduling, project management, and delivering strong team collaboration and customer service. • Implement board policies and directives per the management agreement. • Inspect property to ensure compliance with HOA codes, rules, and regulations. • Issue violation letters to homeowners and follow up for correction. • Greet and interact with homeowners, board members, vendors, and contractors. • Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. • Maintain and update database records and track documents. • Assist in creating and managing budgets; review financial reports and interpret statements. • Submit RFPs, manage vendor bidding, selection, and oversee capital projects. • Coordinate maintenance requests, work orders, and schedule vendors/contractors. • Prepare board packages and schedule monthly and annual board meetings. • Distribute weekly mass communications to homeowners about maintenance, guidelines, and events. • Assist homeowners with architectural review forms and follow up on board decisions.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 + years experience in single‑family, multifamily, or leadership roles. • Knowledge of association board, general manager, and homeowner request processes. • Effective project management skills to prioritize multiple projects and communicate with stakeholders. • Excellent written and oral communication with strong conflict‑resolution techniques.
