About the Role
The Project Engineer role is positioned as an Impact Maker who will oversee the technical lifecycle from sales support to site commissioning, delivering high‑performance solutions like MV busways, substations, and switchgear that exceed reliability and efficiency standards, thereby contributing to Australia’s energy transition and decarbonisation objectives. • Lead engineering from concept through detailed design, FAT, SAT, and commissioning, ensuring contractual and risk compliance. • Interpret customer specifications and AS/IEC standards to produce technical drawings, BOMs, and documentation meeting safety benchmarks. • Perform electrical calculations (cable sizing, voltage drop, derating) and design control circuits for LV and MV switchgear. • Manage documentation for manufacturing and installation, proactively resolving technical issues for stakeholders. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to manage interfaces, mitigate risks, and meet milestones.

What You Bring
Candidates are expected to have an Electrical Engineering degree and at least five years of experience delivering LV/MV projects, with deep knowledge of MV switchboards and complex switchgear systems. Proficiency in Australian standards AS2067, AS3000, and AS62271 is essential, as is the ability to interpret technical specifications within commercial contexts and to lead collaborative, documentation‑driven project delivery. Applicants must have working rights in Australia and will need to provide documented evidence if selected.
