About the Role

The role may include SOX control responsibilities and adheres to strict recruitment policies that prohibit any fee payment by candidates. The position is located in the Infrastructure department. • Establish friendly, professional, and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support. • Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies. • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget. • Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and timely. • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering. • Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice. • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets. • Proactively provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders. • Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed. • Lead people and commissions as needed.

What You Bring

Turner & Townsend seeks an Associate Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for prestigious infrastructure projects. The role calls for an experienced cost‑management professional who can hold challenging, consultative conversations and bring out the best in teams and clients. Candidates must have proven cost/quantity surveying or commercial management experience, preferably hold MRICS accreditation, and be familiar with NEC3 contracts, especially Option C – Target Cost. Experience in post‑contract administration, major programmes and projects, and infrastructure sectors such as rail, aviation, marine, utilities or highways is required. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams is essential.
