About the Role
The Assembler I will build sub‑assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS). The role follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to construct sub‑assemblies, perform visual inspections of materials before and after assembly, and use fixtures, gauges, hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products. Completed assemblies are inspected for compliance with Raleigh Plant Quality standards, and necessary adjustments are made to meet quality goals. The employee also adheres to environmental, health, and safety regulations, provides process and safety improvement ideas, ensures machines and tools are calibrated, and performs housekeeping using 5S+ principles. • Build sub‑assemblies and assemblies for UPS wiring following SOPs. • Perform visual inspections of materials before and after assembly. • Use fixtures, gauges, hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products. • Inspect completed assemblies for quality compliance and make adjustments as needed. • Follow environmental, health, and safety regulations and suggest process improvements. • Calibrate machines and tools and maintain housekeeping using 5S+ principles. • Equal opportunity employer; considers applicants with arrest/conviction histories per fair‑chance laws.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Prior experience with SOPs, product or electrical assembly, maintenance, or repair is required. The position demands basic computer proficiency, the ability to read and interpret SOPs, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lb, distinguishing colored wiring, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and to shift between areas or local plants is also required. Applicants must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Raleigh plant; relocation assistance is not available. Active‑duty military members are exempt from the geographic restriction.
