As they look to 2026, Mace seeks Associate Director and Senior Manager level Commercial Managers to join over 400 colleagues in the Defence Business Unit. The role supports Defence and National Security across infrastructure, commercial services and project delivery, requiring SC clearance (or the ability to obtain it) and offering flexibility across London and the South West, with exposure to Defence and NEC contracts seen as highly beneficial. • Degree in quantity surveying or cost management (or equivalent). • Professional membership or working towards MRICS/RICS (or equivalent). • Experience in business development with strong commercial and financial acumen. • Knowledge of value engineering, life‑cycle costing, contract law and construction contractual frameworks. • Experience leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams. • Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders. • Understanding of carbon and sustainability considerations shaping project outlooks.
