About the Role
The Commercial Sales Executive serves as the brand steward for Johnson Controls Security, promoting and selling security services and technology within an assigned territory. This role drives new business acquisition, customer retention, and positions Johnson Controls as the top‑tier electronic security provider. Key responsibilities include generating new market share, selling to new and existing commercial customers, renewing agreements, and identifying prospects through creative lead‑generation techniques. The executive will independently create call plans, conduct post‑installation follow‑ups, process work orders, and maintain deep product knowledge through ongoing training and research. • Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within assigned territory. • Generate new market share by acquiring new commercial customers and expanding existing accounts. • Conduct post‑installation follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. • Manage sales pipeline, create call plans, and apply time and territory management techniques. • Maintain deep knowledge of the product line, services, and customer needs through training and research. • Meet or exceed sales quotas with at least 2 years of commercial sales experience in security or technology. • Work in a collaborative, safety‑focused environment with a Zero Harm policy.

What You Bring
