About the Role

To efficiently manage field operations, including controlling subcontractors’ day‑to‑day activities and ensuring material supplies are available in conjunction with the Site Manager. You will assist the Site Manager in planning and programming site activities to ensure safe completion, deputise when needed, and manage quality standards to meet customer expectations. Internal applicants should inform their line manager if they wish to apply for this role. • Complete weekly planning sheets to meet the overall build programme. • Direct contractors and manage subcontractors to ensure quality standards. • Coordinate material availability with the Site Manager to meet the construction programme. • Ensure all site personnel comply with Construction Health and Safety Regulations 1974 and Taylor Wimpey H&S procedures. • Conduct frequent inspections to ensure safe operations. • Verify operatives work to method statements and risk assessments. • Meet site‑specific environmental action plan requirements. • Liaise daily with the Sales Executive on customer options and variations. • Coordinate supply and installation of customer choices with the Sales Executive, Buying Department and subcontractors. • Work with the Sales Executive to resolve customer issues. • Arrange and plan National House Builders Council stage inspections. • Schedule and coordinate Local Authority statutory inspections. • Accompany inspectors during their visits. • Assist the Site Manager in completing the Home Quality Inspection before sign‑off. • Ensure homes are defect‑free, clean, and ready for occupation at legal completion. • Support post‑completion visits to verify customer satisfaction. • Perform regular property inspections and prepare snagging lists. • Ensure contractors follow issued drawings, specifications, and scope of works. • Apply company operating framework and franchise rules to maintain street scene standards. • Provide required waste disposal and tip skips. • Ensure subcontractors and labour separate waste according to company policy.

What You Bring

• Trade background. • NVQ Level 4 in Residential Construction Site Supervision. • Detailed knowledge of building process, NHBC and Building Regulations. • First aid qualified. • CSCS card holder at Manager/Supervisor level.
