About the Role
The Safety Engineer will administer site‑specific safety programs, conduct orientations and training, track violations, perform audits, analyze safety data, and manage OSHA reporting. Additional duties include reviewing safety submittals, monitoring trade partner work plans, assisting with injury management, organizing safety celebrations, and participating in project planning and hazard analysis. • Implement and administer site safety programs, develop site‑specific activities, and conduct safety orientation/training. • Document and track safety violations, conduct audits, analyze safety data, assist with incident analysis, and manage OSHA reporting. • Review safety submittals, monitor trade partner work plans, assist with injury management, organize safety celebrations, and participate in project planning/hazard analysis. • Provide safety information, evaluate industrial hygiene concerns, maintain knowledge of standards/regulations, serve as a safety resource, and attend or chair safety meetings. • Collaborate with client safety personnel, union representatives, and insurance risk engineers; accompany OSHA personnel on tours; ensure maintenance of safety equipment; manage PPE and safety budget. • Build effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and various organizational levels.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in occupational safety, health, or a related field, or possess a high school diploma with CHST or STS certification, OSHA 30‑hour training, and at least five years of construction experience. Required skills include strong communication, teamwork, leadership, problem‑solving, public speaking, proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety software, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time. • Education: Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in occupational safety/health preferred; alternatively high school diploma with CHST or STS certification, OSHA 30‑hour training, and at least five years of construction experience. • Additional qualifications: valid driver’s license, detail‑oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office and safety software, positive professional attitude, strong customer service, communication, teamwork, leadership, public speaking, and ability to travel up to 100%. • Visa sponsorship is not offered; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Benefits
Base pay ranges from $76,800 to $96,000 for Safety Engineer I and $79,800 to $107,700 for Safety Engineer II, with higher rates in select office locations.
