About the Role

The role is responsible for generating new sales opportunities via phone, email, or other electronic communication, responding to customer order and quotation requests received through various channels, and coordinating with other departments to handle purchase orders and provide service to customers. Under limited supervision, the associate modifies processes to resolve situations, exercises independent judgment, and may provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to junior personnel, contributing to professional development without hiring or firing authority. • Prospect new sales opportunities and generate leads through outbound calls and emails. • Provide product pricing using the price matrix and complex tables while maintaining target margins. • Prepare and submit proposals, delivering oral and written quotations. • Procure and maintain inventory, ensuring proper inventory turns. • Resolve customer service issues and track open sales orders. • Follow up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction. • Sell in an inside‑sales environment and achieve success with customers. • Manage inventory sales.

What You Bring

The work environment is a comfortable indoor area with most time spent sitting, occasional movement, and rare light lifting. Travel is limited to less than 10% overnight. Candidates typically need a technical certification or associate degree and 5‑7 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include inside‑sales experience, inventory sales experience, and a degree. • Hold a relevant degree (preferred).
