About the Role
The Chief Engineer (Union) leads the engineering team and oversees safe, efficient operation of all building systems at a Class A property in Armonk, New York. The role requires on‑site presence Monday through Friday, with occasional off‑hours availability for emergencies or special events, on a daytime shift of 7‑4 or 8‑5. • Take primary responsibility for maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems • Supervise and manage third‑party contractors • Create and regularly update a documented preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance plan • Participate regularly in client‑facing and property team communications • Lead, create, and manage the engineering budget and contribute to the overall operating budget • Assist in developing a capital improvement plan • Select, schedule, supervise, and direct contractors while monitoring performance • Lead and organize ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs

What You Bring
• Respond effectively to emergencies and service calls • 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer or similar role • People management experience (leading others) • Trade school education, union training, military service, or college education (desirable) • Universal CFC EPA certification • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) • Ability to lift up to 50 lb • Comfort using ladders up to 30 ft tall • Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive • Strong customer service and communication skills

Benefits
Compensation is estimated between $138,500 and $140,000 annually, subject to qualifications, location and market conditions. The position is on‑site in Armonk, NY and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
