About the Role
The Leasing Consultant manages leasing, marketing, and resident‑relation functions for an assigned property, ensuring a positive experience for prospects and current residents. • Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents, including greeting, qualifying, touring, and signing leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete leasing paperwork, conduct lease audits, and assist with unit turnover processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, meet closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Handle administrative tasks and resolve resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan execution and perform regular market surveys and reports. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Perform physical duties including climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, standing for extended periods, and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
