About the Role
This position is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. • Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and production workflows to improve efficiency and safety. • Analyze production data and process performance to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with product design, quality, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and alignment with production capabilities. • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation. • Support the introduction of new products and technologies into manufacturing by coordinating trials, validations, and training. • Evaluate and recommend new tools, equipment, and technologies to enhance production capabilities. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineer I and other team members. • Participate in cross‑functional projects focused on lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and quality improvement. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.

What You Bring
Requires a four-year ABET‑accredited degree in engineering or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences; 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role within the HVAC or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. The role also requires effective communication and leadership abilities, experience with process improvement tools and methodologies, the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment. • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. • Effective communication and leadership abilities. • Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. • Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
