What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a talented Commercial Director to manage all contract activity on a major market program. The role provides technical guidance, oversees staffing, and leads contract negotiations while collaborating with commercial, project management, and controls teams. You will also evaluate proposals, mitigate risks, and maintain professional engagement to stay current on contractual issues. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering, quantity surveying or a related field, plus 20+ years of experience, including mixed‑use development and PMO/PMC projects. Professional credentials such as MRICS, MCIPS or equivalent and familiarity with FIDIC contracts are required, along with strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills. Proficiency with project‑management software for contract administration and cost management is also essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience. • Experience on mixed‑use development and PMO/PMC projects. • MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent professional certification. • In‑depth knowledge of industry practices and prime‑contract negotiation. • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. • Proficiency with project‑management software for contract administration and cost management. • Proven ability to lead and manage teams. • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
