About the Role
The role is a full‑time ICT Associate Director in the Building Engineering Division, based in a UK office, and part of AECOM’s Security & Technology team. The incumbent will design ICT systems for office fit‑outs, mixed‑use developments, industrial sites, and public‑sector organisations, translating client business objectives into tailored technical solutions while managing work plans and task definition. Key duties involve creating designs for communication rooms, ICT cabinets, structured cabling, telecom and wireless networks, and LAN switch infrastructure, as well as ensuring integration with security, AV/multimedia, and other building services such as lighting control and BMS. During the construction phase, the role includes leading client design meetings, performing site inspections, analysing test results, and witnessing testing activities. • Design communication rooms, ICT cabinets, structured cabling, telecom and wireless networks, and LAN switch systems. • Integrate ICT solutions with security (CCTV, access control), AV/multimedia (IPTV, digital signage, room‑booking), and building services (lighting control, BMS). • Lead client design meetings, conduct site inspections, analyze test results, and perform witness testing during construction. • Provide tailored ICT designs for office fit‑outs, mixed‑use, industrial, and public‑sector projects.

What You Bring
The position requires extensive experience in design‑led consultancy projects, a Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) credential, and an engineering degree that provides a strong technical foundation.
