About the Role

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver civil and structural designs, manage project budgets and schedules, ensure compliance with quality standards, and support the entire project lifecycle from concept through construction. • Apply civil/structural engineering principles and manage projects from start to finish. • Resolve reinforced concrete construction issues to client satisfaction. • Maintain project budgets, schedules, and quality standards. • Follow and improve company design procedures for power delivery assets. • Serve as engineer of record for civil/structural design projects. • Review or delegate review of design documents and shop drawings. • Interpret and apply relevant design codes and standards. • Perform value‑engineering analyses for cost‑effective designs. • Conduct site visits to inspect construction quality when needed. • Assist in preparing project proposals. • Travel to project sites a few times per year (short trips).

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering, have up to five years of design or project‑management experience, and are familiar with U.S. structural codes. Strong communication, organization, and software skills are essential, as is the ability to work on multiple fast‑paced projects. • B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering. • 0‑5+ years of design and/or project‑management experience. • Experience in renewable energy or power‑delivery projects (preferred). • Professional Engineer license or intent to obtain one in the U.S. • Authorization to work full‑time in the United States. • Knowledge of U.S. structural codes (ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI); Canadian codes a plus. • Proficiency in reinforced concrete, anchorage, and structural steel design. • Ability to interpret geotechnical recommendations for foundation design. • Strong written and verbal communication; capable of leading or supporting teams. • Highly organized; able to manage multiple fast‑paced projects simultaneously. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with STAAD.Pro, LPILE, MFAD, MathCad, Bluebeam, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or PLS‑Cad (beneficial). • Experience with grading, erosion control, and access‑road design (a plus).
