HVAC Service Technician

About the Role

The open position is for an HVAC Service Technician who will handle service work and site maintenance for national accounts. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems at customer locations, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Service HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Diagnose and repair units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specs. • Identify, analyze, and repair systems and products on‑site. • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. • Prepare for installations and repairs by reviewing layouts, gathering materials, and coordinating work. • Inspect vehicle condition and cleanliness. • Maintain vehicle service records, scheduling, and complete repairs. • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customer or Operations Manager of issues. • Complete job paperwork and maintain files. • Represent the company as a direct customer contact. • Determine and order required parts promptly. • Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor costs and return unused resources. • Submit all required paperwork and reports on time. • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair. • Read and interpret product specifications. • Provide technical support to customers. • Travel regularly, including occasional overnight trips.
