What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Senior Transmission Permitting Specialist for our Environmental Permitting & Planning team. The hybrid role, based in Dallas, Austin, Houston or Baton Rouge, focuses on NEPA‑compliant assessment and permitting of power transmission systems for renewable energy, transportation and other energy facilities, and will drive business growth in Texas. • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field (Master’s preferred). • Minimum 6 years (10+ years preferred) experience managing permitting and environmental impact analysis for high‑voltage transmission, renewables, or linear infrastructure. • Ability to travel for agency/client meetings, field kick‑offs and audits; valid U.S. driver’s license; U.S. citizenship required. • Knowledge of Texas and other state requirements, PUC processes, and wind/solar siting. • Expertise in NEPA, ESA, CWA permitting and related regulatory compliance. • Proven staff management, proposal development, and competitive bid success. • Strong relationships with agencies, utilities, transportation and energy companies. • Experience mentoring staff and leading complex interdisciplinary projects.
