About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver must ensure the vehicle meets safety standards, comply with all company, state, and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, and operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse before disposing of it at designated sites. The driver must interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for compliance, and clean any accidental spills according to safety policies. Vehicle cleanliness, such as removing waste from the packer blade and truck body, is maintained on each disposal trip, and required reports and productivity sheets are completed accurately. Participation in the Company’s ReSOP program and other assigned tasks are also expected.

What You Bring
Strong customer‑service skills are essential; the driver should act professionally, courteously, and cooperatively toward customers and co‑workers. Good time‑management, follow‑through, and honesty are required to meet schedules and maintain safety standards. Pride in work and adherence to company policies are emphasized. Applicants must hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. This credential ensures the driver is qualified to operate heavy collection trucks safely.
