About the Role

The position involves operating a range of heavy equipment—including front‑end loaders, motor graders, excavators, dozers, scrapers, tractors, and related machines—to execute construction tasks such as land clearing, excavation, grading, and underground utility work for civil, industrial, and wind projects. • Operate front‑end loaders, excavators, graders, dozers, scrapers, and other heavy equipment. • Perform land clearing, mass excavation, grading, and trenching for various projects. • Remove topsoil, vegetation, and rock; load and transport material to trucks. • Coordinate equipment movements with crew members using hand or audio signals. • Conduct daily equipment maintenance and complete maintenance reports. • Adhere to all company safety policies and actively participate in toolbox talks. • Communicate clearly to ensure understanding of job duties and safety regulations. • Apply basic math for measurements of weight and volume during operations. • Maintain physical stamina for extended shifts and lift objects up to 50 lb.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 1‑3 years of related experience, at least one year operating heavy equipment, and be familiar with safety programs, toolbox meetings, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and perform basic measurement calculations. The role requires up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures, heavy lifting (up to 50 lb), climbing, working at heights, and consistent use of personal protective equipment while tolerating dust, noise, and other environmental factors. • Wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in varied weather and noisy conditions.
