About the Role

Key responsibilities include managing project profit and loss and customer satisfaction, coordinating backlog execution, schedule, and forecasting up to two years with branch administrations, and overseeing the turnover process between equipment sales and order execution. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings to develop compliant submittals, following standardized guidelines for coil, fan, and chiller selection, evaluating contractual scope changes, managing cross‑scope items, preparing cost estimates and proposals, negotiating change‑order pricing, and ensuring technical and commercial compliance throughout the factory equipment ordering process. • Manage project profit & loss and ensure customer satisfaction for assigned HVAC equipment projects. • Coordinate backlog execution, scheduling, and forecasting up to two years with branch administrations. • Oversee equipment sales turnover and execution of equipment orders. • Interpret engineering drawings and develop compliant equipment submittals. • Follow standardized submittal guidelines for coil, fan, and chiller selection and performance verification. • Evaluate contractual scope changes, client bulletins, and field directives. • Identify and manage cross‑scope items with project team members. • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and negotiate change‑order pricing with sales. • Coordinate factory equipment ordering, ensuring technical and commercial compliance. • Generate purchase order content for field‑purchased materials and equipment. • Select, order, and track delivery of materials and equipment; collaborate with logistics to meet schedules. • Ensure project documentation meets contract requirements and Johnson Controls standards. • Arrange customer training with local service teams. • Facilitate final payment collection from customers upon project completion.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least three years of operations management or mechanical engineering experience, strong project management skills, and knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead large, complex projects with extensive execution teams and professionalism, with preferred experience in AutoCAD.
