About the Role
• Assist Senior Engineers with detailed design tasks and drawing production. • Develop understanding of building materials and techniques employed in design. • Maintain a Continuing Professional Development diary to support qualification attainment. • Learn and apply relevant legislation, standards, building regulations, and codes of practice. • Keep a daily training log documenting achievements and experience. • Attend site visits and project meetings as applicable. • Participate in required training to achieve Chartered status. • Organize and attend lunchtime CPD and knowledge‑sharing sessions. • Help maintain QA systems on projects.

The ideal candidate can establish excellent rapport with the team, business, and clients, handle a varied workload, and meet tight deadlines. • Perform detailed design calculations and become proficient with computer design packages. • Acquire knowledge of design techniques and awareness of other design disciplines. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
