About the Role

The Master‑Planning Senior Engineer will lead the review, validation and approval of the Masterplan and its components, ensuring they align with the program’s strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, sustainability goals and technical standards. The role requires close coordination with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders, integration of environmental, social and technical considerations, and oversight of tenant and core‑tenant design submissions to guarantee alignment with the approved Masterplan and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. • Coordinate the review and approval process with relevant stakeholders, including regulatory authorities. • Ensure all master plan components are approved and aligned with company goals and regulations before further design work. • Integrate environmental, social, and technical considerations into the master plan. • Coordinate tenant and core tenant design submissions with the master plan to ensure alignment. • Prevent core tenant designs from conflicting with the approved master plan. • Review and approve core tenant design proposals in collaboration with other design consultants. • Verify that all core tenant designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and technical requirements. • Develop comprehensive master plans for large‑scale urban projects. • Ensure projects enhance community engagement and environmental sustainability.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning; Master’s degree preferred. • At least 12 years of experience in master planning or urban design. • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the GCC region (Saudi Arabia, Emirates, etc.). • Minimum 5 years of experience on comparable large‑scale or complex projects. • Strong understanding of land‑use regulations and zoning laws. • Demonstrate strong skills in mobility and infrastructure requirements for master‑plan design. • Good knowledge of smart‑city requirements for master‑plan design. • Proficient in applying GIS systems to master‑plan design. • Proficient in drafting software for master‑plan design. • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects and civil engineers. • High proficiency in English.
