About the Role

The position is a full‑time outside sales role that creates and nurtures new business relationships both inside and outside the organization. The loan officer meets prospective customers, brokers, NHCs and other referral sources at communities or convenient locations, analyzes financial information, educates borrowers on mortgage options, and guides them through loan selection and application. • Generate leads and build relationships with homebuilders, realtors, brokers, and referral sources through weekly travel to communities and offices. • Conduct First Time Homebuyer Seminars to develop leads and collaborate with New Home Consultants. • Attend builder and realtor events, status meetings, and special functions to maintain customer relationships. • Meet with prospective and current customers to explain loan offerings, collect applications, and attend closings. • Follow up daily on leads via phone and email to schedule in‑person or virtual meetings. • Originate and prepare loans per company guidelines, ensuring compliance with product and policy manuals. • Advise customers on suitable mortgage products and lock interest rates at least 15 days before closing. • Support New Home Consultants with pre‑qualifications and provide loan status updates. • Meet or exceed loan capture targets and other sales goals established by division management. • Maintain accurate records in the origination system, documenting prospect interactions, loan status, and projected closings.

What You Bring

• Four‑year college degree preferred. • Minimum three years of loan‑originating experience. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • NMLS license required or willingness to obtain.
