About the Role
As an NEC Supervisor you will represent Mace, interface with key clients and ensure the successful delivery of assignments aligned with the project’s vision and objectives. You will provide strategic direction, monitor progress and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental performance. • Collaborate daily with the Project Manager to support successful delivery and achieve high client satisfaction. • Monitor site activities against stage‑gate processes, regulations, standards and company procedures. • Review contractor’s Quality Management Plan, inspection and test plans, method statements and risk assessments. • Act as the on‑site representative ensuring safe, efficient work with minimal environmental impact and compliance with Works Information. • Coordinate and witness contractor inspection and testing, including off‑site fabricated equipment. • Conduct regular inspections, issue instructions, and ensure non‑conformance reports are closed promptly. • Liaise with client operations to arrange access, storage and site logistics for efficient work progress. • Inspect completed works, assess readiness for handover and manage any remedial actions. • Verify contractor’s inspection records, test results and as‑built drawings for compliance with the approved QMP. • Lead regular site meetings to monitor staffing, progress against contract documentation and programme, escalating issues as needed. • Maintain a detailed site diary, progress photographs and quality records for audit and archiving. • Support the Project Manager in preparing compensation event assessments, quality sections of progress reports and weekly/monthly meetings.

What You Bring
• Proven experience as an NEC Supervisor (NEC accreditation preferred). • Track record delivering projects and programmes in construction management. • Strong commercial and financial acumen. • Experience leading parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams. • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. • Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations in construction. • Understanding of HSQE principles and commitment to high workmanship standards.
