About the Role
In this role you will manage the commercial aspects of large‑scale projects from tender through completion, overseeing contract review, risk mitigation, margin protection, cash‑flow planning, and dispute resolution. You will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure accurate project controlling, compliant documentation, and hands‑on project accounting to achieve successful outcomes. • Shape commercial activities for large‑scale projects from development through completion and assume commercial controlling. • Review and evaluate contractual terms with the contract management team, mitigate risks, and leverage negotiation opportunities. • Support, validate, and collect legally binding correspondence while ensuring proper escalation processes. • Create and monitor liquidity plans, track project cash flow, and enforce legitimate claims. • Validate and collect project claims and manage customer complaints such as time extensions and defect notifications. • Oversee project forecasting and maintain margin baselines, including collaborative dispute resolution with subcontractors. • Conduct project accounting transactions for assigned projects. • Partner with Project Managers to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and deliverables. • Share financial responsibility, oversee budgets, and support project financial performance.

What You Bring
Only candidates authorized to work indefinitely in the United States will be considered; future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience. • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial project management, contract management, project controlling, or project accounting within construction or engineering. • Working knowledge of contract management, project accounting, construction site processes, and execution workflows. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Willingness and ability to travel to project, customer, or regional sites as required. • 7+ years of experience in commercial management or project controls for large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects. • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations, claims management, and customer‑facing commercial discussions. • Advanced knowledge of commercial risk management, cash‑flow planning, forecasting, and margin control. • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a customer‑oriented mindset. • Proven ability to work goal‑driven and solution‑oriented with flexibility for extended or non‑standard hours. • Effective English communication (see, hear, speak, write) for interactions with colleagues and customers. • Manual dexterity for occasional reaching, lifting light objects, and operating office equipment. • Ability to sit, stand, and walk in office environments and construction sites. • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lb and work at heights over 1.8 m (6 ft). • Clean, orderly, properly lit and ventilated office with low to moderate noise levels. • On‑site presence with customers or contractors, managing expectations and deliverables across various site types. • Required driving to customer sites. • Travel requirements up to 25% of the time.
