About the Role
• Conduct general fixed‑plant maintenance. • Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens and chutes. • Communicate and plan repairs with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand. • Execute repairs according to scheduled timelines. • Monitor and suggest improvements to maintenance tasks, processes, or plant performance.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced quarry/mining fixed‑plant Boilermaker/Welder or Trades Assistant to join our team at Nerang Quarry on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role operates on a day‑shift schedule from 5 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with a half‑day on Saturday paid as overtime. Candidates should hold a fitter/boilermaker qualification or possess substantial relevant experience. • Experience with crusher, screening, and conveyor repairs (fixed‑plant maintenance background). • Trade qualification in fitter/boilermaker preferred; equivalent experience considered. • Ability to perform constant manual handling and work within a small crew. • Reliable, willing to listen and learn, and hold a current driver’s licence. • Current Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.
