About the Role

Interns will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support customer service, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Schneider Production System and lean principles. The role involves developing methods for raw material forecasting, collaborating with production schedulers and purchasing, and participating in inventory management and supplier risk activities. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on customer‑service and delivery projects • Apply lean principles and SPS standards to drive industrial improvements • Design sustainable forecasting methods for raw material needs • Partner with Production Schedulers and Purchasing for process improvement and root‑cause analysis • Lead or support Lean/Kaizen initiatives • Provide hands‑on support for inventory disposition and mitigation • Communicate with external suppliers and manage supply‑risk issues • Review new product introductions and assist with validation and phase‑in • Support validation of newly purchased items and initial business delivery

What You Bring

Candidates should be actively pursuing a degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline and be comfortable using ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite, especially advanced Excel features. The ideal intern demonstrates leadership, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, effective communication, and a proactive, self‑directed work ethic. The internship reports to an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager and offers exposure to Lean/Kaizen projects, new product validation, and inventory disposition support.
