About the Role

In this role you will conduct minor repairs and assembly on department assets, manage maintenance orders and receiving submissions, and work closely with vendors. You will assist with Kanban processes, including bin and rack creation, alteration, and labeling, and develop visual aids to improve material handling. You will partner with the inventory team to identify excess or obsolete parts and support the E&O process. Additionally, you will help develop current and future state value‑stream maps, implement continuous‑improvement plans, and maintain the PFEP while updating ERP systems as needed. • Perform minor repairs and assembly on department assets and equipment. • Manage maintenance orders and receiving submissions for equipment. • Coordinate with vendors and support Kanban bin and rack creation, alteration, and labeling. • Create visual aids to enhance material handling processes. • Partner with inventory team to identify excess or obsolete parts (E&O process). • Assist in developing and implementing value‑stream maps and continuous‑improvement plans. • Lead or participate in Kaizen, 5S, ergonomic, safety activities, and daily Gemba walks. • Maintain the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and update ERP accordingly. • Analyze business metrics to recommend actions for inventory objectives.

What You Bring
