Chief Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

The role manages the implementation of a quality management system, ensuring its effectiveness in meeting business, statutory, legal and contractual requirements. It engages with business stakeholders to manage compliance, supporting a resilient business that manages risks effectively, and acts as a key enabler to change and business improvement. • Deliver delegated elements of the annual business plan on time and within budget. • Manage and facilitate external certification audits and support new certifications. • Organise and conduct internal audits, producing audit reports. • Investigate non‑conformance, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. • Review and improve management system content and implement changes. • Identify new systems and processes to drive efficiency. • Ensure timely, accurate information for quality reports. • Produce communication articles, plans and collateral. • Contribute to management review activities by collating, analysing and presenting data and key metrics. • Recommend actions to mitigate risk and enhance system effectiveness. • Support business development activities. • Develop and deliver training. • Monitor supplier performance, providing training, guidance and auditing their QMS capabilities. • Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition, identifying and managing emissions and reductions during work delivery.
