About the Role
The Project Controls Engineer III gathers and analyzes project information to produce reports tracking time, quantity, and costs for a specific project. By reviewing this data with the project team, the engineer helps improve profitability and supports effective decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle. • Gather cost data using JMP process, including schedule, quantities, and daily logs. • Analyze cost information and recommend daily cost target adjustments. • Advise project team on cost‑saving opportunities such as procurement, delivery scheduling, resource and manpower loading, and equipment scheduling. • Collaborate on change orders, budget revisions, procurements, financial reports, billings, cash‑management, time tracking, and invoice approvals. • Produce weekly cost reports and draft monthly financial statements. • Prepare and process subcontract changes and billing for manager approval. • Oversee inventory, supplier billing, and stored materials billing. • Maintain all project logs, including concrete and rebar records. • Promote an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) environment and follow safety guidelines. • Participate in training and certification programs.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years construction experience or equivalent. • Proficient with construction software (Timberline, Primavera, BIM, Filenet, Bindr) and Microsoft Office. • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, perform statistical calculations, and apply percentages, ratios, and fractions. • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of preparing reports and presenting to stakeholders. • Ability to provide internal customer service and constructive feedback to improve project profitability. • Knowledge of contracts, specifications, drawings, and scope of work. • Ability to manage safety compliance and support a safe work environment.
