About the Role
The Field Technician II supports the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC systems, and telecommunications site infrastructure with minimal supervision. You will read and interpret customer detail plans, create AutoCAD field sketches, and ensure all work follows OSHA and industry regulations. Superior customer service, timely execution, and accurate documentation are essential. Additional duties include due‑diligence assessments, peer‑review of work, and other tasks as assigned. • Provide support for maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecom site infrastructure. • Work with minimal supervision and interpret customer detail plans. • Deliver superior customer service while completing tasks efficiently, accurately, and safely. • Follow OSHA and other industry standards and regulations. • Create field sketches and drawings using AutoCAD. • Read and interpret structural, architectural, and design drawings for various applications. • Perform due-diligence assessments for multiple projects before fieldwork. • Review peer work products and perform other assigned duties. • Maintain accurate “as‑built” records and installation specifications.

What You Bring
Successful candidates demonstrate a strong safety mindset, high-quality workmanship, and a hands-on problem-solving approach. They possess at least two years of general construction experience, preferably in the cell-tower sector, and can operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and related equipment. Good communication skills, a clean driver’s license, and the ability to travel extensively are required, along with a high school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred). Physical stamina to lift 50 lb, work 12‑hour shifts, and adapt to extreme weather or weekend/night schedules is essential. • Minimum 2+ years general construction experience; cell-tower experience preferred. • Strong safety mindset and proven high-quality workmanship. • Ability to solve complex problems with a hands-on approach. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. • Must be ≥21 years old, hold a clean driver’s license and be able to travel extensively. • High school diploma/GED required; technical degree preferred. • Experience with AT&T or Verizon Wireless networks. • Proficient in operating aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platforms. • Capable of leading crews and performing DC/AC electrical tasks. • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, work up to 12 hours, and handle ladders and manual dexterity. • Availability for weekends, nights, extreme weather, and out‑of‑market assignments.
