About the Role
The Performance Expert leads holistic strength‑and‑conditioning and resilience training, managing intake, customizing curricula, preparing materials, and facilitating each session. After each event they grade participant work, record results in required databases, and collect survey feedback to produce an After‑Action Review within five workdays and a quarterly data analysis. They also observe fellow instructors, provide delivery feedback, and complete initial instructor certifications to ensure effective teaching. All instruction aligns with unit missions and emphasizes practical application of resilience, performance enhancement, and leadership skills. • Conduct intake, customize training plans, and facilitate resilience and performance workshops. • Prepare, distribute, and grade all training materials; document student performance in required databases. • Collect post‑training surveys, produce After‑Action Reviews within five workdays, and deliver quarterly performance analyses. • Observe and mentor fellow instructors, providing feedback to improve delivery. • Complete required instructor certifications and maintain training records.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, coaching, kinesiology or a related field, and have teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military or DoD personnel. A thorough understanding of Army organization, missions, procedures, and regulations is required, and candidates must obtain certification to deliver performance‑expert lessons. Preferred qualifications include professional certifications such as AASP, CMPC, or ABSP, or the ability to earn one within a year of hire. • Hold a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, coaching, kinesiology, or related discipline. • Possess teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military or DoD personnel. • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Army structure, missions, regulations, and policies. • Obtain or be eligible for professional certifications (AASP, CMPC, ABSP) within one year.
