About the Role

As a Tax Manager you will join a dynamic, fast‑moving finance team within an agile business, reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting & Tax and interacting regularly with the CFO and senior management. Your primary objectives are to manage and improve tax processes, ensure compliance obligations are met, and act as a trusted business partner across the organization. In this holistic role you will oversee a range of tax and transfer‑pricing activities, contribute to the development and implementation of the RRPF Tax Risk Management Strategy, and serve as the main point of contact for tax‑related advice on transactions and projects. • Serve as tax subject‑matter expert, owning tax processes and providing advice on transactions and projects. • Manage UK and international direct and indirect tax compliance, meeting all deadlines and coordinating external advisers. • Oversee tax for group reporting, provisioning and financial statement disclosures. • Partner with business teams to deliver tax advice for transactions and ad‑hoc projects. • Build and maintain in‑house tax knowledge on UK and international tax rules. • Own and update tax process manuals (VAT, Intrastat) and act as risk owner for tax risks. • Develop and manage the tax risk register, supervise SAO reporting and advise senior leadership on emerging tax risks such as Pillar 2, DAC6 and BEPS.

What You Bring

The role requires a qualified chartered tax accountant (CTA) or chartered accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA) with post‑qualification experience in a tax manager or senior tax associate position, strong UK tax technical knowledge, and experience with international tax rules and cross‑border transactions. Additional preferred experience includes a solid understanding of multi‑GAAP and US GAAP, familiarity with US tax regulations, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, financial modelling ability, and exposure to finance systems such as Sun Systems, Hyperion or Salesforce. • Qualified chartered tax accountant (CTA) or chartered accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA) with post‑qualification tax manager experience. • Strong UK tax technical knowledge, including tax accounting, and experience with international tax rules and cross‑border transactions. • Preferred: knowledge of multi‑GAAP and US GAAP, familiarity with US tax regulations, advanced Excel/PowerPoint and financial modelling skills. • Excellent written communication with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives. • Experience with finance systems such as Sun Systems, Hyperion, Salesforce or similar is a plus. • Collaborative, team‑focused culture that also empowers independent decision‑making and leadership.
