About the Role
The primary purpose of the position is to manage projects from initiation through closeout within defined cost, quality, schedule, and objective parameters, providing leadership for the project team and the Project Management process, especially for projects requiring integration of multiple functional organizations. Key duties include managing scope, quality, performance, schedule, and budget of assigned projects; ensuring proper use of project controls and monthly reporting; directing the project team and integrating resources; handling contract administration and closeout; securing stakeholder review and buy‑in; communicating project status to NGG and corporate management; evaluating contracted services and materials; and coaching other program managers and cross‑functional personnel. Additional responsibilities may involve emergency response duties as directed by management. • Lead and manage projects from initiation to closeout within cost, quality, schedule, and scope constraints. • Direct project teams, integrate resources, and ensure effective project controls and monthly reporting. • Oversee contract administration, including closeout and post‑project lessons learned. • Facilitate stakeholder review and secure buy‑in for intermediate and final deliverables. • Communicate project status to NGG, site, and corporate management. • Evaluate and recommend contracted services and materials. • Coach and mentor program managers and cross‑functional support personnel.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree with eight years of related experience, or an Associate’s degree with ten years, or a high school diploma/GED with twelve years, plus experience managing projects, PMP certification within 18 months of hire, and required access and medical clearances. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field, supervisory or management experience, plant operation or maintenance background, knowledge of contract management or Asset Suite 9 (AS9), and the ability to work in ambiguous situations with little direction. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience (or equivalent education/experience). • Obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within 18 months of hire. • Possess supervisory or management experience and knowledge of contract management or Asset Suite 9 (AS9) preferred.
