Part Time - Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers operate independently across multiple locations, assessing customers’ storage needs, recommending solutions, and selling packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and contacting customers for payment reminders and collections. • Work 4‑hour shifts (e.g., 10 am‑2 pm or 1 pm‑5 pm) with flexible scheduling. • Assess customer storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing/moving supplies. • Inspect storage units, audit cash drawers, and make bank deposits. • Conduct payment reminder and collection calls as needed. • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and spend up to 50% of time outdoors, including stairs and large doors. • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior facility areas.

What You Bring

The position favors 4‑hour shifts, such as 10 am‑2 pm or 1 pm‑5 pm, and offers the ability to work up to 40 hours during the first and last week of each month. This structure provides a balance between consistent hours and the option for increased workload when needed. The role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds, walk outdoors for up to half of the workday, climb stairs, and perform basic cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior areas. Candidates should have prior experience in customer‑service‑focused sales environments, possess a valid driver’s license, and use their own vehicle for site‑to‑site travel, with mileage reimbursement provided. • Possess prior experience in customer‑service sales and hold a valid driver’s license with a personal vehicle for travel between sites.
