About the Role

ECS encourages continuous professional growth by providing access to internal and external training programs and sponsoring certifications from leading industry organizations. • Conduct field observations, sampling, and testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete according to project specifications. • Perform routine laboratory and on‑site tests using industry‑standard equipment and methodologies. • Calculate and reduce test data; assist with drafting and other administrative tasks as required. • Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers, reporting site condition changes and equipment issues. • Attend project meetings, organize field equipment, and notify supervisors of broken or missing tools.

What You Bring

The Miami location is seeking a certified field technician to join a collaborative team of senior professionals. The position offers hands‑on experience within a dynamic and safety‑oriented setting. Ideal candidates are reliable, communicate effectively, and prioritize safety while working with contractors, peers, and supervisors. • Hold basic certifications in concrete, soils, and radiation safety; OSHA 10 certification may be required. • Possess a minimum of one year of related experience in construction materials testing. • Be able to lift at least 85 lb and have a valid driver’s license with insurance. • Demonstrate willingness to learn CMT principles, ASTM laboratory standards, and pursue further certifications.
