About the Role

The experienced Commercial Sales Executive II will promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, acting as the brand steward and telling the Johnson Controls Security story to establish new business and ensure customer retention. The role requires adherence to Johnson Controls Security policies, building market share by acquiring new commercial customers, selling additional products and renewing agreements, and converting existing systems to meet expectations. The executive will prospect creatively, develop call plans, manage territory time effectively, maintain deep product knowledge, process work orders, complete paperwork, and conduct post‑installation follow‑up to confirm customer satisfaction. • Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services within an assigned territory • Build market share by acquiring new commercial customers and retaining existing ones • Sell additional products, renew agreements and convert existing systems to meet expectations • Identify prospects using creative lead‑generation techniques and maintain relationships • Develop and execute call plans, territory management and follow‑up strategies • Maintain deep product knowledge through training and research • Process work orders, complete paperwork and conduct post‑installation follow‑up

What You Bring

Applicants need at least two years of sales experience (preferably in building automation or a related field), a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent oral, written and presentation skills, and the ability to work a full‑time schedule with local travel. A college degree is preferred, and a minimum of three years of successful commercial sales experience in security, IT or technology with consistent quota achievement is required. • Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in building automation or related field • At least 3 years successful commercial sales in security, IT or technology with proven quota achievement • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; ability to engage senior executives • Ability to travel locally and work full‑time schedule
