About the Role

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems. • Perform software preventative maintenance on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems, including implementing software patches and updating antivirus solutions. • Code software using multiple languages in multiple environments as appropriate, adhering to high-quality coding and testing practices. • Assist with commissioning and startup of new Building Automation and Energy Management Systems to ensure proper operation. • Streamline and develop software code, graphics, and drivers for graphic front end, human-machine interface. • Function independently with minimal supervision to complete all job tasks. • Support third‑party commissioning agents and communicate deficiencies to the project team. • Support network troubleshooting and analysis by running packet captures for software engineers and product support. • Initiate, manage, and communicate status for all field‑related product support cases. • Support Project Manager in scheduling, prioritization, and identifying obstacles for startup tasks.

What You Bring

The specialist should have at least two years of experience constructing low-voltage electrical systems for HVAC and building automation. Core duties involve interpreting project specifications, budgets and schedules, and performing on-site service activities such as coordination, installation and commissioning of building automation and security management systems, while working independently or with a team. • 2‑4 years of relevant HVAC and building automation experience. • Intermediate knowledge of HVAC and building automation. • Experience installing panel terminations based on submittals. • Experience stripping and terminating 12‑ to 16‑gauge wire. • Working knowledge of red‑lining commissioning. • Ability to install panel terminations according to submittal drawings. • Two‑year degree or equivalent related work experience required.

Benefits

For this U.S.-based full-time position, the salary range is $66,000 – $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and a short-term incentive. Pay within the range is set based on performance, knowledge, skills, experience and education.
