About the Role

The specialist handles movement and control of materials and finished goods, replenishing flow‑line supplies and performing general material functions. Duties include delivering materials to workstations, operating forklifts, tuggers, and other PITs, supporting kanban implementation, conducting material counts, and troubleshooting basic issues. The employee works under general supervision, maintains a clean 5S work area, and may flex into other departments as needed. • Deliver materials to workstations to meet production demand. • Operate forklift, tugger, and other powered industrial trucks. • Support kanban system and expedite material as needed. • Perform material counts and verify inventory levels. • Interact with Oracle system for material tracking. • Maintain clean 5S work area and adhere to safety policies. • Troubleshoot basic material handling issues.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 0‑2 years of material‑handling experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain forklift or tugger certification. Required skills include reading blueprints, measuring tape, basic computer use, lifting up to 40 lb (or 40‑100 lb with assistance), mechanical aptitude, and strong communication. Reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. • Flexibly assist other areas or departments. • 0–2 years material handling experience. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to obtain forklift/tugger certification. • Basic knowledge of blueprints, measurements, and computer use. • Ability to lift 40 lb (up to 100 lb with assistance/equipment). • Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills. • Reliable attendance and safety awareness.
