About the Role
The assistant will perform clerical duties, manage communications, maintain records, support procurement and equipment tracking, and provide general assistance to the project team, including scheduling repairs and guiding visitors. • Perform clerical tasks and operate basic office equipment. • Answer incoming calls, provide information, forward calls, and take messages. • File and maintain physical records and create electronic copies. • Receive, sort, and log deliveries in a computer database; prepare outbound deliveries. • Prepare materials for design and construction meetings and record meeting minutes. • Procure consumable materials and office supplies. • Support Superintendent with equipment inventory tracking and craft worker timecard entry. • Provide general project team support, schedule and track truck repairs, and give maps/directions to visitors and subcontractors. • Log craft applicants into the Applicant Tracking Spreadsheet.

Mortenson is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment, maintaining flexibility, resourcefulness, professionalism, and confidentiality. The role requires handling a broad range of administrative and executive support tasks independently or with minimal supervision. • Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred. • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience supporting large teams. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Email, Calendar, and PowerPoint. • Strong knowledge of basic office equipment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized.
