About the Role

The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on designated transfer routes, adhering to all OSHA, DOT, and company regulations. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe vehicle while completing assigned duties. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and promptly reporting any issues. Drivers must communicate unsafe conditions, incidents, and customer requests to the Operations Manager or Dispatch, dump containers, clean work sites, correctly position containers, and complete all required documentation at the end of each route. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely on assigned routes following OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report issues promptly. • Notify Operations Manager or Dispatch of unsafe conditions, incidents, and customer requests. • Dump containers, clean the work site, and position containers correctly on customer property. • Complete route documentation, customer tickets, and end‑of‑day check‑ins.
