About the Role

• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates throughout design and delivery phases. • Produce monthly cost reports, executive summaries and funding data for stakeholders. • Coordinate cost information from design teams, contractors, subcontractors and vendors for validation and auditing. • Lead procurement strategy, review contractor pricing, validate scope and conduct commercial negotiations. • Manage final accounts, change control, post‑contract cost variances and support cost risk analysis. • Implement cost control systems, including Earned Value Management, and integrate cost with schedule and scope. • Drive value engineering initiatives and cost optimisation while monitoring market trends. • Act as primary client interface, delivering executive‑level updates and ensuring service excellence. • Mentor junior team members and promote a high‑performance, one‑business culture. • Maintain financial management responsibilities such as margin tracking, fee forecasts and SOX compliance where applicable. • Promotes a flexible, productive work environment that respects work‑life balance and supports diversity and inclusion.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field. • 5–7+ years of cost management/project controls experience in mission‑critical environments such as data centres. • Construction consultancy background preferred with strong understanding of MEP systems and hyperscale data centre infrastructure. • Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, cost control systems and Earned Value Management. • Proven procurement and commercial contract management skills. • RICS accreditation or progress toward certification is advantageous. • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and analytical abilities. • Proficiency with industry‑standard cost management tools and software.
