About the Role
• Manage and grow assigned territory and accounts, meeting or exceeding annual sales and gross margin targets. • Develop long‑term relationships and partnerships with assigned accounts. • Perform take‑offs and bid projects across the full range of ALC offerings. • Influence design specifications with consulting engineers to incorporate ALC solutions. • Collaborate with consulting engineers to write project specifications that add value and favor ALC. • Negotiate scope, specifications, pricing, and terms with contractors. • Recruit, train, develop, and coach other sales representatives. • Deliver compelling presentations to owners and their representatives. • Use sales tools to plan, document progress, and increase business opportunities within accounts. • Generate high activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities through the sales cycle to close.

The role suits a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at building relationships, and delivers outstanding customer service. It also offers the opportunity to grow a personal client portfolio while coaching less‑experienced sales specialists. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED and four or more years of sales experience with HVAC or HVAC controls. Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business, or a related field and have five or more years of HVAC controls or sales experience, along with the ability to value‑engineer control designs. • Position Automated Logic as the preferred building automation solution. • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of HVAC or HVAC‑controls sales experience. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business, or related field. • Preferred: 5+ years of HVAC controls or sales experience with ability to value‑engineer control designs. • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications. • Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills. • Effective communication at all levels and collaborative team player.
