About the Role
• Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs. • Offer subject‑matter expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. • Lead short‑term and long‑term engineering programs impacting site operations. • Perform engineering tasks using general principles as assigned by supervision. • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, procedures, and codes. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects and programs. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or meet regulatory changes. • Participate in emergency response, department duty coverage, call‑outs, and support outage activities as required. • Maintain required access and pass medical examinations per position duties.

What You Bring
The role performs advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving to support nuclear plant operations, acting as a technical resource and decision‑maker. The incumbent must possess deep functional expertise and knowledge of industry codes and regulations. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, nuclear) or related science, or a Professional Engineer license, with 5 years of engineering experience including 1 year in nuclear power plants. • Supervisory or managerial experience. • Professional Engineer registration and an advanced technical degree or related coursework. • Electrical design engineering experience. • Experience with transmission and digital relay protection.
