Job Highlights
About the Role
The Structural Designer will be responsible for checking and approving drawings and designs, facilitating interface communication, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of structural scopes for hyperscale data center modules to meet customer requirements and industrial standards. Key responsibilities include reviewing vendor design deliverables, conducting regular Tekla model checks and stage‑wise clash checks, managing change and revision control, supporting import and export of reference models between PDMS/E3D, Tekla, and CADWORKS, and executing assigned tasks with limited supervision. • Verify and approve structural drawings and designs for hyperscale data center modules. • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and international industrial standards. • Model and detail foundations, steel, and concrete structures in 3D and produce 2D GA and detail drawings. • Perform interdisciplinary design reviews and clash detection, resolving model conflicts. • Prepare preliminary and detailed material take‑offs (MTOs) during proposal and execution phases. • Import and export reference models between PDMS/E3D, Tekla, and CADWORKS using macros and user connections. • Conduct regular Tekla model checks, stage‑wise clash checks, and manage change and revision control. • Review vendor design deliverables for alignment with project specifications. • Support HSSE program implementation and maintain a safe work environment. • Provide engineering support to processing facilities as needed. • Apply knowledge of industry standards such as ACI, AISC, BS, and Euro.
