About the Role

The role is responsible for leading site-level continuous improvement efforts by developing, implementing, and sustaining practices that support operational excellence and waste reduction. It partners with manufacturing leadership and frontline teams to strengthen process stability, quality performance, and a culture of continuous improvement. The incumbent also facilitates improvement activities, evaluates operational performance, and supports change management initiatives across the facility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to enhance productivity, reduce cost, and improve both employee and customer experiences. The position also involves hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and evaluating the performance of direct reports to build a high-performing team. Key duties include deploying continuous improvement initiatives, facilitating improvement events and hands‑on training, and partnering with operations leadership to identify opportunities, develop action plans, and sustain gains. The role conducts on-site observations to pinpoint non-standard conditions, recommends corrective actions, and supports operational problem‑solving, while maintaining standardized work, procedures, and performance measures. The incumbent prepares reports and presentations that summarize improvements, operational trends, and cost savings, and benchmarks industry best practices to incorporate relevant methods into site operations. Work is primarily performed in an office setting with regular visits to manufacturing areas, exposing the employee to noise, temperature variations, and industrial equipment. What You Bring

Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related discipline, and at least five years of manufacturing or operations experience, preferably in HVAC or related industries. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also considered. Essential skills include the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, strong knowledge of continuous improvement and process methodologies, and proficiency in analyzing operational data for decision‑making. Effective communication, interpersonal abilities, organization, and project‑management expertise are also required. The position demands the ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lb during site visits. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required when working in production areas. • Require a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field and 5+ years of manufacturing/operations experience. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and ability to lead cross‑functional teams. • Exhibit excellent analytical, communication, and project‑management skills. • Ability to lift up to 20 lb, stand and walk frequently, and use PPE in production areas.
