About the Role

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, inventorying, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining tracking and control, and performing equipment inspections across a range of tools and safety gear. • Receive, count, and unpack stock items, then store them in designated locations. • Notify or deliver items to appropriate departments upon arrival. • Maintain continuous inventory tracking and updates using labeling equipment. • Organize storage areas to ensure accessibility and compliance with safety regulations. • Inspect stock for wear or defects and report any damage. • Keep records of stock usage and equipment condition. • Assist or guide other warehouse and storage personnel as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least four years of experience in industrial construction, maintenance, or turnaround projects within a warehouse or similar material handling role, possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, meet physical demands, and have reliable transportation. The role requires a valid driver's license, TWIC card, basic computer proficiency including SAP, and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. While not mandatory, experience with industrial hand and power tools, forklift operation, and prior Zachry Group employment are valued. Applicants must adhere to Zachry's safety rules and values, work collaboratively as team members, and be flexible to meet work schedule needs. • Possess 4+ years of industrial construction or maintenance warehouse experience. • Demonstrate knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and SAP inventory systems. • Hold a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a TWIC card. • Exhibit strong communication, reading comprehension, and teamwork abilities. • Ability to use hand tools (e.g., hammers, drills) for opening or crating materials. • Preferred skills: forklift certification, inventory control, material kitting, and prior Zachry experience.
