About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.). • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Track and store department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility. • Type on a computer 1‑2 hours per day.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent. • 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems. • 2+ years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance. • 1+ year reading blueprints and electrical schematics. • 1+ year knowledge of electrical/electronic principles. • Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field. • Knowledge of MHE safety standards and OEM requirements. • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. • Reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lift, and lift up to 50 lb frequently. • Wear required personal protective equipment such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. • Crouch, bend, and move between departments, covering 6‑12 miles daily in varying temperatures.
